CDT on form once again - HD-62S Slimline!

CDT have finally created a high definition slimline component speaker. The HD-62S has an inverted neo-magnet system which allows a mounting depth of just 1.8". 3rd Place - EMMA Event - ISTS 2008

Chris from Axis entered his Audi A6 into the EMMA competition at the ISTS 2008 show. and was very pleased to pick up a 3rd place trophy. The competition was great fun to be part of, with a group of very helpful competitors & judges willing to offer advice, hints and tips to all. Massive Audio's new toys

Massive Audio have two lovely new black box signal processors to launch. They are the Bass Pro and the Flatline. The Bass Pro is a bass enhancement device that like Boss bass guitar pedals, dbx xds ‘studio ‘boom boxes’ and of course our beloved AudioControl Epicenter, generates extra low-lows of deep bass by interpolation. The Flat Line is also a line driver but it starts with an OEM speaker level input. It will auto signal sense the music in your system and power up before sending a juicy line out to the front / rear / sub / centre RCA outputs.

Talk Audio Review: Atomic QT6.5C2

A two-way component speaker system with separate tweeter units, midbass drivers and passive crossovers. Complete with a sticker and literally nothing else! A purist product, it says something about ‘We’ll be here for when you get serious’ on the box. The contents were seriously heavily built and had just about the largest motor assemblies in the entire group. Recommended by Talk Audio with an Editor's rating of 9.0 out of 10.

Talk Audio Review: CDT ES-62i

A two-way component speaker system with separate tweeter units, midbass drivers and passive crossovers. Complete with a particularly high quality mounting kit to fit the tweeters in more than one application and screws and fixings. This product was unique amongst the twenty sets tested in that it has passives with extra tweeter connections, giving it a score of: 9.4 out of 10. Talk Audio Best Buy and Best on Test.

DB Drag World Finals

Team UK SPL had a huge turnout for the 2007 DB Drag World Finals in Lyon, France. Axis attended to support our team members who came out for some fantastic world placings. We were pleased to see on a count up of all the European competitors that more were using Atomic subwoofers than any other brand. John achieved his PB score of 158.3 db but was pipped at the post by the French Atomic team with 159.4 db. ( Video 1 )

CDT New Breeds

These new breed drivers offer the audiophile, who wants to custom select the optimum driver for their installation, plenty of choice. The HD-M6+ and ES-06+ six inch drivers have low frequency capability and are Mid-Subs, offering true bass response. The HD-M6 & ES-06 are Extended Bass Mids and offer a mid range with long excursion to extend low frequency performance. The upper frequency drivers HD-02 and ES-02 are Mid-Tweeters and can play all the way down to 150Hz. To compliment these are two passive crossovers, the CS-256 accent fill, and the MX-1000 3-way. Both enable true tuning of your component system.

Axis Continue to bring in the awards

The CDT ES-520 picked up a Silver Award for best 5.25in Components. The CDT Eurosport range was brought to the ICE Awards by Axis Distribution in a crusade by Axis to show the world how amazing CDT speakers are. C.A.R. as well as many other dealers have voted them close to the top of their lists for must have door speakers. They aren't the cheapest of speakers, but once you've heard them... nothing much can touch them.
